The problem

A studio that sells premium motion work has to be able to point at some.

Client sites are built to the client's brief, and that brief is almost never the most ambitious thing the studio can do. A portfolio that only shows client work therefore understates the ceiling.

This site exists to hold the ceiling: the scroll-driven scenes, WebGL, and interaction work that a business site rarely has a reason to commission but that proves the capability is real.

The direction

Build it as a real product, not a demo reel. Every effect on the page is one that could ship in client work, and it is all held to the same performance and reduced-motion standards as everything else the studio builds.

What was built

  • Full design and build of a multi-route personal platform
  • Scroll-driven scenes and section transitions
  • Three.js canvas work, budgeted so it stays fast
  • Reduced-motion paths for every animated section

Details

  • GSAP ScrollTrigger owns every scroll-driven scene, with no second system alongside it
  • Lenis for smooth scroll, driven from the GSAP ticker so the two stay in step
  • Three.js scenes unmount when out of view rather than running offscreen
  • Every motion path has a reduced-motion equivalent that leaves content readable
